I think the blame is on China's government policy which permitted specific sorts of trade on exotic animals.
This is a country of 1.4 BILLION people. There's a lot of variety there so I'm not gonna hold the actual Chinese people to account.

@CountScrofula Agree.Government regulations will cover up again if there is another outbreak

That depends on how that meat is being handled. if it’s not handled properly then of course you’re gonna get sick from it.

Regardless of the virus blaming game, it's a major health concern with wet markets.
Animals, like bats, aren’t prey animals, so yes.
