I think it's a great idea - but only if you don't expect hundreds of readers.
There's a pronounced reading allergy widespread in SW.

@Mamapolo2016 Your chapters are legitimately on my list / I'm looking forward to reading once I have the space to enjoy something creative :P But you're totally right, the folks on here who'd invest that time and energy and give constructive feedback seem to be few and far between.
I wonder if the rights to your writing are better though since there seem to be limits on how available the material is to the general internet/public?

@kismet Technically the publication of written matter is copyrighted simply by the date and author at publication, online or in print.
But if mine isn't available elsewhere it's because nobody thought it worth stealing. 😄

@Mamapolo2016 Huh! Yeah, I have no idea about copyright. I just know there's a singer that put up song lyrics on tumblr under a different name before she got big, and she used them in a song later on, and people flipped out saying she plagiarized herself/from tumblr lol.
Haha, that or your internet fans put out a hit on them lol ;)

@kismet I hope not. I've never written one word worth dying for. 😁

@Mamapolo2016 Haha. I hear that. But just for the joke... What about your name? 🙃
Mamapolo2016 · F
@kismet Is my name worth dying for?
No. It's not even really my name. My last name is from my ex-husband's family and my first name was given to me by parents who loved me and whom I loved, but the word "tree" is probably not how redwoods and aspens think of themselves. It's just what we call trees.
There are a few things worth dying for and fewer still worth killing for, but not my writing and not my name.
I feel like a (hopeless) beauty pageant contestant.

@Mamapolo2016 Well, your writing is certainly worth reading. That struck a chord. Thank you for sharing!
