I think it'd be fun, and if this is what motivates you to write, go for it! They (Terry Pratchett, I think) say the first draft is just you telling the story to yourself. Why not do it here :)

No. It's not even really my name. My last name is from my ex-husband's family and my first name was given to me by parents who loved me and whom I loved, but the word "tree" is probably not how redwoods and aspens think of themselves. It's just what we call trees.
There are a few things worth dying for and fewer still worth killing for, but not my writing and not my name.
I feel like a (hopeless) beauty pageant contestant.
