Are we on the verge of the purge?

The thing with that movie that made little sense to me was the idea that everyone would want to just kill each other. I personally think there’d be more sexual assault than murder and more theft than sexual assault. However I don’t think we’re close to a purge exactly. Definitely in high stress situations there’s been more acts of violence. But I don’t believe it is usually more widespread than some bad apples. Majority of people are good.
