Best place to be trapped?

In an unpleasant dream. Not quite a nightmare, just a dream that makes things feel worse. Even when you realize it's a dream, it won't let you wake up.

I've been there, when it gets worse, I realize it's a dream and try my best to wake up, and when I do, with great effort, it leaves me hyperventilating. I'm not talking about nightmares just normal dream.
