Can certain medications change bone structure?

James1956 · 61-69, M
Yes, my mother had this issue, cortisone taken by mouth can damage bones

There are some that change bone density.
Niloo · 46-50, F
Yes,
They can effect the density and how it might heal amongst other changes ,
but if they do, your doctor will warn you ahead of time about it
KA9ha · 31-35, M
that is a fact... but calcification does not change structures,,,,Cobalt radiation does and chemotherapy too
Lostpoet · M
Not directly but indirectly you might take some Zoloft and some wine and crack your face on the sidewalk. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Idk, it’s possible but usually stuff just causes weight issues which can effect someone’s looks

probably. The pharmaceutical companies need to keep you on your meds.

Structure? I don’t know, but strength probably.
SampledVinyl · 41-45, F
@MrsKatherineArch I've been on a few and my face has changed shape
Carissimi · F
You can lose bone with some, so I suppose so.

Steroids, even inhalers can cause bone thinning
KevinOfTheHill · 26-30, M
Those that drain the body of calcium.
