Today, billions of people ruin their backs by sitting on chairs, instead of stools or mats. But where did this nonsense start? Who was the very first person who sat on a chair?

@helenS well the very first person to sit on a chair idk, but the chair it self has been around since the Egyptians

@maturedragon Yes. Exactly. The first chair was a Pharaoh's throne. Then the Greek kings said, "Hey, this guy is sitting on a throne, so why don't we?", and from there it went to the Roman Empire, and then to the medieval European kingdoms, then to the Bourgeoisie, and now chairs are ubiquitous. Disc prolapses are democratic.
