Why Are They Wasting Their Advertising $s???

I see something like at least a dozen TV ads per day, for Charmin. Why are they wasting their money? It's not like it's not in demand, or that I can buy it anywhere.

If they don’t buy the advertising slot a competitor will. And we all know how “brand brainwashing” works.
