@TexChik I think guns can be good, but it changes some people like a drug I think it does. I don't want to hurt anything even if that means I have to lose.
I love shooting hoops and some people like shooting soda cans and as long as that's as far as it ever goes than I think that's a good thing to have. But if you think having a gun makes you stronger than you really are than I think that's a bad thing.

@Lostpoet I hope that works. When I was 20, 1990, I had a gun pushed into my back and a guy demanding all my money. I couldn’t carry a handgun legally then. I heard his friends telling him to “shoot that m’fer”. Fortunately he didn’t. Took $37 and they drove off. I never saw any faces. After that I swore never again. 5 years later I was put into a “him or me” situation in downtown Dallas. I saw his gun, he didn’t know I had one. I drew, he ran. He also dropped his gun and fingerprints put him away. 2003 I shot a guy in another of those situations. He didn’t die. All I’m saying is rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

@SW-User and that’s great. I’m not saying everyone needs to have one. But to make assumptions that if you carry one means you’re a demon attracting demons to you is false.

@JesseInTX honestly I don't know if Poet would use a gun even if he was in that situation and could. Now put me in the same situation and I'd have no problem.

@SW-User Maybe I can distract them with a poem while you shoot. Lol
