Even In Rural Quebec, I Am Only Muslim

My mom was Iranian, my dad (white) French Canadian...I was born and raised here but even here, I stand out like sore thumb (I identify as Muslim) but they are much more tolerant than they would be in U.S. Maybe I am wrong. What about your town? Do you look down on Muslims?

I live in a university city and have some Muslim friends, there is a wide variety of Iranians in this area.

@RouynRemy I worked at the university with a wide variety of people from the 80 s till last decade. I was raised to treat people with respect. And always like to talk to people about their culture and country. And they share food with me. I cooked Bademjan Koresh last night with rice for dinner
