Even In Rural Quebec, I Am Only Muslim

My mom was Iranian, my dad (white) French Canadian...I was born and raised here but even here, I stand out like sore thumb (I identify as Muslim) but they are much more tolerant than they would be in U.S. Maybe I am wrong. What about your town? Do you look down on Muslims?

I am from and live in a Muslim country but only like 10% of the people I know are still Muslims and the rest are atheists

@SW-User Yep, that’s why. The smaller cities and even suburbs are very religious.

@tutku Thought so. I’m from the same country as yours. I’m in Europe but every time i visit the country I’m surprised how modern people can be there...so used of media brain washing about muslim countries although some of it is true

@SW-User Well that’s true about city people but I recently moved into a suburb and a neighbor was giving me hell because i’m partly a race ultra nationalists don’t like ☹️ He’s the only person in the city who is like this that i know
