Gray Hair transformation

Are there any women out there that have decided to quit coloring their hair and just embrace the gray? What has been your experience, good bad, any regrets? I’m 64 and I’m not too gray but I’ve decided to go for it.

I have never colored my hair and I am not going to start. To me it looks fake and I want to keep it real. I like myself better when I am just me.

No, I have maybe 5 grey hairs and that's it, I'd prefer to colour to hide them, maybe when I'm older I'll change my mind

I mean sometimes it's better to leave it that way. I'm not a woman but I am 29 and the majority of the beard hair grayed out due to stress.

I wanted to get them colored to black once but have decided not to and live with it.

@Mbingh01 I mean most people who are close to my age would be like "Wait you have gray hair and you're 29". Some would go and call me 40 lol.

I used to feel bad initially but now I've kinda embraced it.

Thank you for that too. I personally feel women do look with gray hair too. It's all a matter of personal choice these days.

I’m starting to see grays. No, I will NOT embrace them! I am a bit afraid of trying the Clairol in my cabinet yet. Depends on how desperate things get.

I know it’s just vanity, especially during a global pandemic. But there is a part of me that still wants to feel “normal” you know? I guess it’s like putting on makeup, or doing any of the other “maintenance” that I will continue to do. @Mbingh01

@MrsKatherineArch I understand completely and I was the same way. In my twenties I wouldn’t be caught dead going out somewhere without makeup. I still wear it on occasions, but can’t wait to get home and take it off, especially mascara.
