Oh yes, it would always get back to me by someone else. Either they blabbed it to everyone who'd listen or they'd tell one person who'd tell another person who'd tell someone else and so on. That's why I quit telling anyone anything I didn't want getting out. I live in a small area that thrives on gossip.

@indyjoe It's nice to have 1-3 people to talk with about stuff, though.

However, this sort of thing seems to happen on social networks as well, not just within actual neighborhoods.

@xixgun That, or you know someone along the line will say something to you or ask you about it because it's been twisted or misunderstood and they can't resist (especially if it has made someone upset or angry). It's even worse when they tell it to you as if just spreading it not knowing you're the one who said it first.

i don't care. not like i have a social circle that could be affected by someone misquoting me, or taking my words out of context.
i'm a lone wolf. people hate me anyway. another reason doesn't make it any worse for me or any better for them lol.
