Not nearly as strict as we need to be. Our governor in California is cracking down pretty hard on the lockdown rules, but even then there are still several businesses around the state that are refusing to close despite the governor's orders, prompting governmental interference in the form of numerous arrests and hefty fines to force those businesses to shut down. So things are a little bit more strict in my state. In the rest of the country however, nearly half of our states have refused to issue shelter-in-place orders so people can still go out and live their best life like everything is fine. To make matters worse, some of the states that are currently in lockdown have governors who are considering reopening schools and businesses and allowing life to get back to normal for their residents against the advice of numerous experts. So that's not going to help matters.
