Is there anyone else that thinks China has way under-reported their death toll ? Cause when I look at the rest of the world’s total cases and theirs is extremely high (for now), their death toll seems too small ... [image deleted]

China's death rate is very close to the world average, so their numbers may be correct.

@windinhishair could it be that they ‘truly’ understood how dangerous it was at the onset and took better precautions to start with ?

@YoungDawg66 Possibly. Remember that China had vast experience with SARS about 15 years ago and knew how to deal with a similar virus. Also, it is likely that the numbers seen in China did not overwhelm their health care system to the extent being seen in Italy.
