Husband left the garage remote in the car. In the garage. But it's my fault?

He didn't hear me say "don't forget to bring the remote" (points at remote, exits the truck, empties the trunk and walks into apt)

@Tristemuneca: not that it's your fault, because it's not, but I always get confirmation when I remind someone to do something. That exact scenario has played out a lot in my adult life.

@Poptartinvasion: it isn't but I did because I was the one who was driving first to our destination and he drove back.
I wasn't sure if he knew I brought it with me in the car vs leaving it inside the apartment

@DesiredNightmare: I usually wait to hear someone repeat what I said but I needed to pee really bad lol
