I find it strange that all of the church’s are shutting down because of the coronavirus

If this is so then explain to me why this church I went to said “Have no fear” “ and have faith and quoted Scriptures such as Psalms 91 then said have faith and to not fear the virus but then passed the letter around saying we won’t be hugging each other and we will be giving each other fist bumps and that if your sick stay home and to watch it on Facebook but isn’t the church supposed to heal the sick?

@MrsCurious I hate that mentality so much. Lol Cause I went through something a few years ago and begged God for help. I was even suprised at the amount of faith I had. The Bible said I only needed a little after all. But nothing happened to fix things. So that is like saying I didn't have enough faith. Or mine wasn't good enough. Which only made me feel even worse. So I see the whole just have faith thing as bunk. It is almost like some kind of money system. Save up your faith and cash it in for stuff:/
That isn't to say I have anything against people that it works for. But it just made me worse.

@canusernamebemyusername I went through the whole stupid 'have I got faith' dilemma before too. It's up to us to just do what we can; faith in God helps but He doesn't fix everything in this life. I'm not putting anyone down but we can't fix everything either; we can only do our best, pray for God's help, hope for the best and try to muddle through whatever happens.
