What does the corona virus mean to you?

@GBPackersFan A new settler gathered some wood for the winter then thought he had better ask an old native how cold the coming winter would be. The old native told him it would be a cold winter. The settler went home and gathered even more wood. He then asked the old native again. The old native said it would be very cold winter. The settler gathered all the wood he could possibly gather then asked the old native about the coming winter. The old native said "It will extremely cold this winter. If you doubt me check the size of the settler's wood pile". Moral of the story - panic begets panic. Be reasonable instead of foolish. The virus is not very deadly. The vast majority recover at home and report having mild flu symptoms.

@hippyjoe1955 For once we agree. Of course if you have an immunity deficit or a chronic lung issue, take extra care.. But the economic results of all this will be much worse than the medical ones

@whowasthatmaskedman exactly. Sadly people will die. My mother in law recently died from dementia. She couldn't remember to chew and swallow. Look what Joe Biden has to look forward to. That being said no one is having a dementia panic because Biden is showing early onset.

@hippyjoe1955 Do we have to? Let it be and I wont refer to Reagan. or Trumps particular brand of stupid.. This is a public health crisis that is going to be an economic crisis.

@whowasthatmaskedman Given the bent of the media in the US and around the world yes a republican president must react and react quickly. Demoncrats like Obama can let thousands die and no one notices.

@hippyjoe1955 Well has not reacted at all aparet from make noises.. Inside 2 weeks the Italian experience is going to be the US experience. The horse has bolted.

@whowasthatmaskedman What did you expect him to do? I heard a number of experts who are not Trump fans all say that Trump acted appropriately and promptly.

@hippyjoe1955 I had no expectations. America was never going to stop this thing once it hit your shores.. As with Italy the tourist traps will be the places that spread it across the land. Disneyland will already have done the job. I can only blame Trump for saying to was controlled when it isnt even accuratel measured and wont be till people start falling over.

@whowasthatmaskedman Well when you consider it is much fuss and futher about nothing..... It isn't that deadly. Most people who had it say it was a mild flu. Nothing to be concerned about.
