What is appropriate?

Been reading and posting to an interesting individual and was considering sending a private message. They had the following:
Message Introduction
Not here for inappropriate chat, so if that is your intentions....run along

Based on some of their post it was/is difficult to decide where the line of "inappropriate " lies. Such a subjective call

They don't want to chat about sex. When the word inappropriate is used in the context of messaging it almost always refers to sex chat. What the user posts about has no bearing on that.

@rfhh1959 Sure, that's you, but online it almost always means sex chat of any kind.

@Infobot is correct ... if you even have to consider it subjective ... then, it is not.

If it is a lady you are referring to ... then it is a capital letter DO NOT DO IT

@questionWeaver subjective is a word that tells you that something is open to interpretation what I find inappropriate you may have no issue with and vice versa but if you tell me precisely you don't wish to discuss a subject that is objective statement. Again I am just having some fun throwing this out here because so many people take it so seriously in here. What I find amusing is the person I was discussing has actually commented in here and not calling themselves out I suspect they find it is amusing as I and if they do I would welcome them saying so privately so not to out themselves
