Ok, I'm dying to read your "basic math" explanation.

@quitwhendone Then quit when you're done. :)
@SW-User So far, I have 61. How far off am I? Are there more?
SW-User
@quitwhendone You're too far.

@quitwhendone A square is a flat shape with 4 equal sides and every angle is a right angle (90°)

When you’re given a math question like the one above, you’re supposed to find as many squares as you can that are hidden within the grid.

There are four types of squares that you may find in this grid. Each of them is color coded as shown in the picture below. Unless you’re a genius, you have to spend a significant amount of time to detect every square of one of the four types until there is no square left to find. It’s easy to count the mini ones. But the larger ones take a little bit of imagination and patience.
@SW-User I can't keep count unless I have it on paper and use a pen or pencil.
SW-User
@SW-User you're missing 2 4x4 squares.

@SW-User Am I? 😉
SW-User
@SW-User i was wrong, you had them 😏 ;)
@SW-User I'm too far what? 61 is too many or too few?
SW-User
@quitwhendone Too many

@SW-User Wait...I found 2 more. It's 58.

@quitwhendone Explain please lol
@SW-User I left out 2 4x4 squares which each have 16 smaller squares.
@SW-User 16 2x2 squares
SW-User
@quitwhendone I think you overdid it lol.
