Clinically speaking, it does not fit the criteria which define what a mental illness is.
I would be content with religions being truly open to moral progress, instead of being static.

Defining religion isn't within the scope of psychiatry. I said being religious doesn't fit the criteria for a mental illness diagnosis.
There are many religious laws related to religious morality that haven't changed since centuries which is my point.
