I agree with Lissa. Delete every message, and when you're ready, all of the pictures. It will definitely help with healing, although the only thing to truly help is the passing of time, with no contact with them.

Don't dwell in the past

It is always hard when a lover or even a really good friend has made a desition to remove themselves from your life when it was not the choice we would have liked. People touch us in many ways and add to how we are. But without letting go you can never move on to the next great thing in your life. In time you will know when the time is right to let go. Just don't wait to long because you may miss out on something truly special for you.

I agree with the others. If you delete the messages you can move on.
