Can someone forget to want to hang out with you?

How would you feel if you asked someone to hang out with you but they said they wernt sure when they could hang out but then after you tell them to let you know when they were available, they respond by saying "I'll probably forget by then"

@SW-User I responded to them by saying that it sounded like she didn't really want to do anything if she is just going to "forget" and she responded by saying "omg. I forgot about my brother's birthday last week. I just forget things." and I told her that forgetting a birthday is different than forgetting to want to hang out with someone. And she just said "I'm going to bed. Good ight"
