Can someone forget to want to hang out with you?

How would you feel if you asked someone to hang out with you but they said they wernt sure when they could hang out but then after you tell them to let you know when they were available, they respond by saying "I'll probably forget by then"

@BalmyNites seems like this kind of thing happens with me a lot though. Like I almost have to hound people and keep asking "when are you free" and they always have excuses and it's so heartbreaking.

@IamDRock So don’t do it, don’t set yourself up to be hurt. Just concentrate on you, do things which make you happy, take up a hobby, join a club etc where you’ll meet similar people - & NEVER beg anyone to spend time with you. You’ll meet new people & make new friends who will want to meet up
