What are some good techniques for controlling anger?

I erupt too easily and the littlest things set me off and it’s like something is physically weighing on my brain and I can’t seem to think about anything positive.

Try to see the ones who make your blood boil as cable TV sit-com characters. Or network ones (with a laugh track), whatever works for you. Some really awful people can be seen as funny, like George Lopez's hard scrabble wetback chain smoking mom in the sit-com named for him. Bad people can be funny. And they never realize it, so don't laugh out loud too much. But seeing bad people in your life as funny, and a TV sit-com, can take the sting out of having to deal with them. Give your sit-com a name and maybe a backstory if you're so inclined. Let the jerks in your life entertain you a bit and you'll sweat and cry less.
