What is/was EP?

I saw a user here named I stillmissEP and I've seen posts about it. What was it? What made it so good that people ask about it and miss it?

Experience Project (EP) was the site that predated this one; it was around from 2006 or 2007 until it closed in 2016. SW was established by some former EP members. Many people wax nostalgic about the days of EP.

@Ksmile14 We were given a few reasons at the time; money, wanting to preserve member privacy, etc. But one incident that might’ve been a factor was the notoriety when a female poster met up with a male poster and was [b]murdered[/b].

@bijouxbroussard oh man I forgot about that. The EP murder was a huge deal. That was in like 2014-2015 wasn't it?

@Ksmile14 Yes. It was in the papers, including the fact that they’d first begun communicating on EP. I believe it happened in 2015. I didn’t recognize either username when I first read about it.
