Pretending to be someone you're not just on the off chance people will talk to you? Not talking about gender, sexuality etc. Just that me as a person never seems to be good enough.

Yes absolutely... I'm an introvert and have to be an extrovert at times for socializing... and sometimes it gets mad tiring and wears me down and I need breaks and my alone time.
