Very high winds bound to cause a lot of damage terrible - 10 miles North of Cardiff South East Wales town called Caerphilly I was going to attend the Military Fair in Brecon some sixty miles away had to cancel it.

Hardly at all in the NW. It's calmed down quite a bit the last 3 hours or so. The east coast seem to be getting it now. The Humber bridge has just been closed due to 90mph winds.

I'm on a little island right at the south of the UK and it's pretty blustery and most of the ferries have been cancelled apart from that it's business as usual as long as you avoid the seafront
