If it’s 3000 straws in a pack and it cost $11.98 how much does each straw cost?

How do I figure out the answer? Is it .25?

.00399 per straw

Round 11.98 to $12, and divide 3000 by 12, which is 250. This means 250 straws costs a dollar. Therefore divide 100 by 250 to get the cost of a single straw, which comes to 0.4 cents. A straw costs 0.4 cents, or $0.004.

If you could purchase one straw 3000 times at the same price, you would have 3000 free straws. 🙂

.25 x 3000 is $750. The answer is .0039 cents. So a little more than 1/3 of a penny.

That’s not the answer lol @SW-User
Just divide 11.98 by 3,000.

Why on earth do you need 3000 straws?
VeronicaPrincess · 61-69
Four cents apiece.
