New war films are starting to be made with a horror feel to them. I think this is the right direction.

I’m tired of chest thumping heros and glorious explosions in this genre. Films like Dunkirk and 1917 show us some of the pure terror the people face in war.

totally inclined to agree... my dad was a veteran who absolutely forbid "BlackHawk Down" in the house... I never understood why until i saw the film and read the book.
