What are the common characteristics of millennials?

I just scraped through as Gen X being born in 1977... My brother born only 5 years later is considered a Millennial (Gen Y) and he is 38 now.

38 is very young, like still a child, you’ll understand this many years from now, don’t take offense I don’t mean it that way.@Quizzical

But it's not 'young' young like people tend to perceive Millennials.
