So I’ve been thinking and wanna hear some feed back

So If consciousness is a purely human trait, are we better off for it or does it simply lead to greater problems? What are your thoughts on this

Leads to greater problems. If we didn't have consciousness we might still be simple tribal creatures farming and hunting.
