I love them both, have both. They delight me in different ways. When I am hiking, Emma and Sky, my dogs are my companions. When I am reading, watching TV, Magoo, my cat is on my lap.

I love dogs but I'd rather own a cat. Fits my ideal lifestyle better. I'm mildly allergic but I adapt within a few days so no big deal.
