I think I would try highlights first, make sure i like the color. Have you looked at a platinum blond color?

I have strawberry blonde hair, I've gone blonde before. Not quite platinum but I bleached it once, liked how that turned out. Didn't keep it bleached though, I think I bleached it so I could do blue. Blue was not the best choice. @lovehighheels10
