So much easier to see “good” in others I think. We know ourselves too well and thoughts, motivations and insecurities prevent people from believing they are “good”.
No matter what someone thinks, actions are what I would use to determine “good”. Words are interesting because they can do good or hurt in certain situations, but the best words without consistent action are worthless.
I think for myself, when I am careful with words, consistent with what I do and “others-centered” I am at my best, but don’t feel comfortable calling myself “good”.

Being a good tool for other people to utilize and never complaining.

I have no interest in being a good person.

I'd rather be an effective person.
Promoting thriving and minimizing suffering, even if that means going against your own personal dogma.

Do little harm...

@pillowthoughts I thought long before answering... Something's there's no way to avoid doing harm... Simple example is taking your kids to get vaccinated... You're doing harm to their physch at that point ( if they're scared) , but it's for a greater good...
I kinda have to agree but I think we could avoid doing harm like communicating without using hurtful words trying to solve things. I know could be hard sometimes but I guess it’s worth a try.@ozgirl512

@pillowthoughts no, I agree with your thoughts, I also believe it's impossible not to cause some harm to people... Hence try and minimise it.
