Homelessness people, if you go to a library to keep out of the cold, don't just sit there, go to the self help section. You might be able to....

... Find a book which will help you improve your life and maybe escape homelessness. Two birds, one stone

@SW-User In an exercise in futility, SW would be hard to beat.

Try to read when you have so many ulcers due to all the hunger over the months and no meds, yep it is so easy when you haven't eaten that much for days..When you don't even get any proper sleep, so many nights they have to stay awake making sure nobody decides to beat the shit out of them or rape them with piece of metal..

Their problem isn't ignorance. That's yours.

@IndigoSavage You'd be an idiot to think you are capable of telling whether a stranger is dealing or not dealing with their problems. If you were aware, you'd not be making this stupid post.
IndigoSavage · 22-25, F
@Miram im sorry ive upset you
Miram · 31-35, F
@IndigoSavage Instead of being sorry for something that doesn't exist, work on educating yourself.

That's a very simplistic view and I imagine not so easy to deal with if you're in that situation. I see quite a few homeless people in our local library. They're doing no-one any harm...
IndigoSavage · 22-25, F
@Moonpenny i know they are not hurting anyone but they could use it as an opportunity

@IndigoSavage Some do, I expect but it's not for us to look over their shoulders. I'd hate that done to me.
I don’t think you understand what’s it’s like to lose all hope. Homeless people know there are libraries.
IndigoSavage · 22-25, F
@Spoiledbrat i know, but mostly they jyst sit there, they dont take advantage of all the books!

@IndigoSavage when you're hungry and scared and with nothing much to live for, I imagine reading self help books are pretty far down the list of things to do

Damn...homeless epidemic solved. Can you suggest an idea that will put an end to mass shootings?
Do you really think that reading a book is going to help, it might a few but people are homeless for many reasons from mental health issues to not being able to pay for houseing that gets more expensive while the wages stay the same. Run away children, fleeing abuse in the home, vets that the government and American people turned there backs on, I dont think reading a book is the answer to homelessness. That's my opinion at least

Usually they bathe there also though.
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
im not sure if that was harsh or lovely
Miram · 31-35, F
@Bushmanoz

Helping would be volunteering in homelessness shelters, sharing meals, using real life resources. Most do not have the ability to be online often enough to read these shit posts.

People make these posts so they'd feel like they have achieved something in their day instead of reading god damn book.
IndigoSavage · 22-25, F
@Miram i volunteer in a cafe for homelessness and disadvantaged people, every Wednesday actually
Miram · 31-35, F
@IndigoSavage Keep telling yourself that, I am totally falling for it coming from a mentality like yours. Sega, claiming to be doing something online and doing it are two different things.

If only it were that easy
