I had a big crush on a friend my first year in college. We were in a class together and lived in the same dorm. Her name was Jenny. But she had a girlfriend. Later they broke up. I waited, then sent her a love letter (I did not have e-mail back then). She was touched but just wanted to be friends. After that the friendship waned. Then she met a guy.

I found her on FB 15 years later and she was married to a guy and had two kids. She still looked beautiful and I still felt love.

Sigh.

I did not say hello. Too painful.
