Thirty two years ago yes.
And year by year it's gotten harder and harder to achieve the same results.
Add to that changes in policy and procedures that, while helpful in some areas are a bind in others.
And the ultimate problem in that so many decisions are driven either by politics; will or sheer lack of money. Nothing whatsoever to do with the work !
And the inescapable fact that had i gone into virtually any other industry i'd probably have made a load more money over the same time period.
