What phase did you go through growing up? If you did go through one

I don't if it counts as a phase but I was a Tom boy when I was a teenager.

I learned how to walk on eggshells every minute of every day, for my dad, as well as on the balls of my feet and not my heels...when in bare feet...so I don't "thud" as my older sister put it.

So I learned how to be very quiet every minute of every day.
