Because communism requires a ruthless dictator . No one willingly wants to be under communist rule .

@TexChik They aren't totalitarian communists anymore. The influxation of government participating capitalism non self dependencies on international trade, and social changes in the mindset of its public.

It's a horrific patchwork of half believers, psychopathic plutarch, fascists, and criminals abusing human rights and ignoring the will of the people there.

In totalitarian systems there's an absolute news blackout, nobody's allowed to leave the country, and no person is immune to execution.

That's gone in China now.
