When it’s full.

@DarkHeaven when its full?
@SW-User I’d give the baby a break and quit breastfeeding after the baby is full. A year straight... seems excessive to me. 😌
SW-User
@DarkHeaven oh lol i meant .. at what age should i stop breastfeeding him ? a year?
@SW-User *giggles* I know. I’m just teasing ya. I can’t carry a child so I have no personal experience. I’m guessing the answer could be more of a cultural question as there’s no point that it becomes exactly harmful but you want to make sure they are adopting solid food, so I’m not sure there is a benefit past two years old.
@SW-User I did find this online.

“ The World Health Organization recommends that all babies be exclusively breastfed for six months, then gradually introduced to appropriate family foods after six months while continuing to breastfeed for two years or beyond. Some babies decrease the number of breastfeeds as they begin to be able to digest solid food.”

@SW-User In many cultures it appears that it stops after 12 months, which apparently is fine as well and up to age four if you want.

@DarkHeaven Awww thanks :)...
and sorry If I hurt you
@SW-User Nope. Made me giggle.
SW-User
@DarkHeaven many women here stop after one year..

Thanks 🤗
@SW-User Welcome. 🖤🤗

From what I read it seems the benefits are reduced after a year and solid food is introduced, so I think that would be a fine time.
SW-User
@DarkHeaven Yes and they then depend on solid foods..
And I think it depends on their digestive system too!!!
@SW-User Yup.
