Many things are. Many things are not. Our mission, learn to tell the difference.

@Mamapolo2016 What are not?
I can't speak for your life. That is something you have to do.

For me, things that help, create, add knowledge, add beauty (even picking up a discarded bit of litter), and build a sense of rapport with other humans, are among the things that are not a waste of time.

You will not often be applauded for 'trivial things' like smiling at others or picking up litter or being kind to an animal, but in my view they are never a waste of time.

Life is a chain of events ... and we affect each other far more than we know. Someone cuts me off in traffic and I react with an unfriendly hand signal. That person's level of anger increases a bit and they drive more aggressively, and later that week they strike a pedestrian who is a parent. That victim's children grow up less grounded and protected ... and so on. In that sense, each of us is indirectly responsible for the things that 'happen.'

Most of us will never move mountains...but we can do our best to clear away a little dirt.

@Mamapolo2016 They are deeds that humans must do. These are what must be done and not one way of living. I am talking about other things such as working for a beautiful face/body, working to earn more and more money etc.
You said 'everything.'

Just as there are hidden effects of negative actions, there are hidden effects of positive ones. Working for a 'beautiful' body may or may not be a waste. Working for a healthy one isn't.

Earning money for the sake of a fat bank account may or may not be a waste. Positioning yourself where you can offer help to those who need it isn't.

Often in life, it's the why, not the what.@d0vev

To envy your kindness and wisdom would be to deny you it. But dammit mama I wish I had more of it too! 😁🤗@Mamapolo2016
@ThePerfectUsername You are very kind. Too kind. Wisdom isn't the word. Experience with a little paying attention...comes closer.

Isn't that what wisdom is? Having lots of experiences and paying attention to the details? ;-) @Mamapolo2016
