Well it is a rip off unless the artist tells the audience “this is a lip sync show and that’s my talent.” Otherwise people go to concerts and expect they will sing since that’s the understood talent that brought them there.

It's a skill of a form but in music no. We don't call people who can trace beautifully artists but there is a definite skill there, too.

@SW-User I'm prejudice since I used to be a stage actor including musicals. Just old fashioned and used to live singing when performing.

I agree 100%! I would rather see less choreography, which they seem to focus on—because they can’t sing! I would much rather hear an artist miss a note and know the singing is live, then to hear a perfect studio recorded lip sync!
