Yes: at a family get-together at the home of one of my sisters.
They set theirs off from an open area of grass across the road from the house, and from where we also had a clear view of the last few, high bursts of the Council-run public firework display held in the town. Or more accurately, I think from a barge moored a short way off the sea-front. An intervening hill eclipsed the lower parts of that display; but not sufficiently to obscure the best of the chrysanthemum-pattern bursts.
