@stound No...it was inspired by another post commenting on the cold weather and someone suggested wearing a toboggan...which is what I call it, but I know many don't.
@Pinto ah. obscura has an article about them, there are like 50 names across the planet.

I must note my father making fun of my ski cap usually called it a yarmulke. 😆
