Have any of you ever been catfished online?

I've never been, but my girlfriend was before we met, I found the situation fascinating and done some digging that took weeks, I was only able to find the real guy in the photos, not the person pasing the photos off as themselves. Which kinda eats away at me lol

Yes I think once but maybe twice. I mean for one time I knew for sure but the second time I couldn't tell for sure so I just broke up with them once I suspected that she could be not even a female.
