Should there be a law against teaching children how to use a gun?

If there are guns in the house then the kids should be taught gun safety and use as should the adults be taught. In the USA any moron can buy a gun and think they are experts because they watched a John Wayne movie. They leave loaded weapons on the coffee table. When a child picks it up and shoots someone everyone clamors for more laws. It would be better to hold the dumbass adults accountable.

I have guns and they are locked away. My grandchildren have seen them and have been instructed that if they see a gun then they are to tell my wife or I immediately and not to touch it.
Next year I will take the 2 oldest to the range so they can learn basic shooting.
