Why do people feel such a drive to destroy themselves?
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The starting quarterback for the University of New Mexico Lobos has been suspended from the team after being accused of indecent exposure in a parking structure on campus.
He's the starting quarterback for a college football team. He can't find a private room with or without a girl?

I think it’s more ridiculous if you want to have sex on the backseat of your car and somebody calls the cops because they feel offended. Or getting charged for taking a piss by a pole while a 10 year old can get access to all the dick pics of the world on a phone a hundred feet away 🤔
He wasn't peeing. And that's not the point of the question, anyway.

His life is going great. He has the world (his world, anyway) at his feet. And he chooses to pleasure himself in public.@SW-User

[@so ruin a kid’s life because he acted stupid one night? Peeing was just an example. You can get criminally charged for having sex on an abandoned beach and someone jogs by,but portable porn at your fingertips is legal

@SW-User yes but watching porn is a choice. And not everyone would appreciate walking up on someone doing something indecent. Not everyone wants to see. And I especially don't want it to be forced upon my kids.
I'm not ruining anybody's life. My question was - why do people bring themselves down?

The problem with today's world is that people think their sensibilities are the only valid ones.

In public you are including others in your private activities and if there are laws governing those things, you have ruined your own life. Nobody had to do it for you.

I am all about people having the right to do as they please as long as no others are affected. They do not have the right to force the involvement of others. @SW-User

@myowncreation74 your kids can look up porn anytime they want to.
myowncreation74 · 46-50, F
@SW-User yes if they choose to. But it is still their choice. Seeing a person doing something obscene in public, is not a choice.

@Mamapolo2016 I didn’t mean you. You just posted a story on sw. I agree on strict regulations. We all were young once,did stupid things but the world was different
This was not, apparently, a case of getting caught doing something impulsive or stupid. There was a conversation between him and a passerby. She asked if he was okay - he said, "Give me ten more seconds." Reportedly.

(And yes, it's funny. But then again, not funny.)

@myowncreation74 im not agreeing with what the guy did,but ruining his life is too much. You never did anything stupid in your teenage years thinking thank god nobody was around?
SW-User
@Mamapolo2016 that’s what im saying. Kids don’t understand the world yet. Maybe it was a stupid bet or sth
I actually agree with you. It really IS too bad. And it wouldn't have been such a thing if he was the ragpicker's kid, as they used to say.

I guess the second part of the question is - and why is the world so delighted when they fall?

@SW-User
This 'kid' is at least 18 - probably closer to 21. He's a legal adult. @SW-User
SW-User
@Mamapolo2016 because it makes them feel better about themselves,it makes them feel superior. That’s what drives the world.
SW-User
@Mamapolo2016 yeah,on paper. I was 18 -21 once and i can assure you I wasn’t a grownup
So was I. Neither was I.

He IS legally responsible, like it or not. Unfortunately, one can't have it both ways - a grownup now, but not NOW. @SW-User

@Mamapolo2016 that’s what happens when the world changes faster than people could adapt. It was even worse in Europe where you had to choose a career at 14.

@SW-User I was only commenting on your comparison of public indecency and porn. I have no idea who this discussion is about. So I don't know if he deserves what he got or not. Good day
