Are you thankful your childhood started before technology took over?

I was from the 90s. But I lived with my grandma... so I lived that life also

Yes, had books and magazines, going to art and foreign movie houses, being able to go off by yourself and no can find you (no smart phones or computer.)

Yes, and I still miss that time sometimes. Modern times have their advantages, but so did the times without technology.

Yes , me and mates were never in always out doing something, kids today just sit in front of screen not out in fresh air or doing anything , I would be bored stiff

Yes, I feel for the youth of today that will never know what life was like back then.

It's a split decision for me. I am a geek of sorts and would have enjoyed some of the high tech toys on the market now when I was younger but at the same time I was able to tinker with the stuff we did have and learn how it worked.

I think so, there were fewer stresses without facebook and all those other social apps

I am thankful to see and understand the devious changes

Im glad most of my life started before technology
YES
I am kinda fighting with my Nieces, new babies for both,
about keeping the kids off of screens as long as possible.
it is hard becasue the babies LOOK at parents constantly, and they see mom and dad are on the little screen ALL THE TIME> really, constantly, so said babies REALLY want to touch look at and handle such gear.
being NEW parents, they give in a lot,
but DAMN big or tiney screen? so much crap, so many lies sand empty promises.
REAL social skills are dammaged this way.

Unfortunately I was raised by my grandparents so now there is nothing left for me in this world. There remains only what I find unappealing or disgusting.

Yes!
It made life a lot more fun and adventurous. There was a wonderment of not knowing things or what everyone was thinking!....you could truly just be a goofy kid!

Technology has always existed. You mean digital technology. But I digress.

Yes, yes I am. I kinda wish I was born a little earlier to have had more time without it being so pervasive.
@MethDozer I was born in 75, so I got quite a few good years in there.
