Dear British People,

enough is enough.
Really. Stop making an ass of yourselves. You are nice and kind and lovely people, do you really want to become the laughing stock of the civilized world?
"The people have spoken", haha. Just accept the fact that Brexit was/is/will always be a textbook example of a crackpot idea that leads nowhere but down.
Now get rid of the Demonic Possession and come back home please. We Europeans aren't perfect either, and we will happily accept your sincere apologies. Just send us a bottle of Isle of Skye whisky and an annual subscription to the Royal Shakespeare Company, and we will be fine. See you in Paris/Berlin/Rome next summer, let's get drunk [and I mean drunk!], and let's have a good laugh together, about this present madness. 馃尫

Yours cordially,
helenS.

The continental lady doth protest too much, methinks.

But time will tell, as always.

Yes, and Trump didn't get a majority of the US popular vote either.

And my baseball team lost just because they scored fewer runs, despite having had more hits.

Terribly unfair. 馃槥

Actually, I have more regard for representative democracy, but be that as it may, I seem to recall there WAS a referendum on the Brexit question a few years ago, in which a majority voted to leave. The Remainers like you didn't seem to care much for democracy then. 馃き

"The UK has voted to leave the EU by 52% to 48%. Leave won the majority of votes in England and Wales, while every council in Scotland saw Remain majorities."

@fairefoutre

Fine. Declare your independence from the UK and become a de facto Department of France, or a German State, if you prefer. 馃槀

@fairefoutre you already voted once for independence and lost, you scots have a habit of being undemocratic and not accepting results of referendums....you cannot have another vote unless Westminster lets you, so less of the tough talking and wait and see if you are allowed...lol....how stupid is wanting independence and then wanting to be ordered about by the eu.....you scots are funny....but me personally hope you get independence, it will give us a laugh for a few years...

@fairefoutre what about if eu won't accept you your economy not strong enough they say , they will insist on more of your fishing rights, and you have to pay UK divorce bill as part of the national debt

@fairefoutre If the SNP spent a bit more time governing and a bit less time whining then perhaps Scotland鈥檚 children would be better served. Lowest literacy and maths results in recent times. Not to mention failing health service. Independence is all very well but don鈥檛 neglect the day job!

Until you no longer agree with them... then they will ipso facto have become undemocratic. 馃き
